Well, Sunday got stormy and the temperature dropped. It was still in the high 70’s, but compared to what it has been, it felt down right chilly.
It was a good day for tomato soup, especially with the tomatoes coming from our own garden.
Speaking of gardens, I heard something that kind of irritated me. Seems some politician made a statement that he wants to put a “garden tax” on food you grow at home.
His logic is that if you are growing your own food, then you aren’t paying taxes on it at the grocery store and therefor you are cheating the government out of their tax money.
I think I can find a rotten tomato to fling in his direction. What do you think?
