When we lived on the economy in Japan, (before we got into base housing,) we would walk a couple of blocks where a fruit and vegetable vendor had a handcart, not unlike the one in today’s jigsaw puzzles.
The prices were good and the food was always fresh, not to mention the exercise we got as it was in a hilly area.
We didn’t drive there as, being in a residential area, there was only one parking spot and it usually occupied.
Around here, we have to drive to the closest grocery store, five miles away. I’m not so sure I would be willing to walk that far these days, especially for the return trip with a bunch of groceries to carry.
Enjoy today’s puzzle!
