Today’s daily jigsaw puzzle comes from an early attempt to create a desert oasis using AI and a written description of what it should look like.
I wanted cactus, ruins, and a clear pathway winding through the area.
At first, I wanted it to be in the daylight, but decided at the last minute to make it early evening. Being in the desert, there wouldn’t be any clouds, so you could see the stars.
I also wanted some desert wildlife, but it made the image look a bit too busy. Also, for some strange reason, the AI stuck an alligator in the water.
To get rid of the alligator, I had to lose the water. So much for it being a true “oasis.”
I finally got it close to what I envisioned, but one last tweak gave it a feature I never wanted, namely, “mushrooms.”
At that point I stopped, and haven’t tried that type of image since.
I found this image by accident while searching for something entirely different, so I decided it was time to “share” it as today’s daily jigsaw puzzle.

I also found that searching my site for things desert related, you get not only "desert" as in the place with cactus, but also "desert" as in ice cream.
