My wife wanted me to put down some gravel between the storage building and the house.
Gray, boring gravel.
I wanted to make it look better so I bought a couple hundred pounds of colorful stones.
Big mistake!
How was I to know the orange would clash with the color of the house so badly?
Now I have to pick out all the orange ones and I have half of what I bought left over because I bought too much!
It could be worse. At least she hasn’t asked me to pull the orange stones out of the extra I bought so we can add more non-orange stones to the space.
