It’s been a while since I used an interesting set of stairs for a daily jigsaw puzzle.
It occurred to me that if stairs hadn’t been invented, we would be using ladders to get to our tenth floor apartments, and if you were bringing home a new sofa or piano, you might have a hard time getting them home.
Of course, if the elevator had been invented first, we might have never needed stairs.
OK, time for me to quit rambling and get the groceries out of the car.
