This rustic kitchen painting reminds me of my grandmother’s place when I was a kid.
She had an old wood burning stove similar to this one but it was on the back porch because that’s where they left it after they got their first gas stove.
Being a kid I liked to play with it and put things in it, including a stuffed rabbit I had.
Had being the operative word.
It was a fuzzy white bunny when it went in.
I’m sure you can guess what happened to it after going in a wood burner that had been used for over twenty years.
