We had a woodpecker that lived in our yard a few years ago. He liked to start banging on the wood about thirty minutes before I had to get up in the mornings.
I don’t know how you feel about it, but to me that last thirty minutes of sleep is the most important, and the time I hated to be woke up the most.
The woodpecker in today’s jigsaw puzzle reminded me of why I don’t have a tree outside my bedroom window anymore.
