Edda and Jacob asked me for a very tough jigsaw puzzle. I picked out this photograph of a wall of clay smiling faces. After making the puzzles, I’m wondering if they don’t really have evil grins. This thing is tough! Try not to hate me too much for it!
I’ve heard stories about kids being locked inside lockers by bullies, but these look a tad bit too small for that. Unless you are talking about Gnome kids that are at school instead of out in the garden where they belong! Debbie in New York asked for a jigsaw puzzle with some bright colors. I […]
Jigsaw puzzles are usually better to work while you are sitting down, so I thought I would provide you with a chair or two. Actually I was thinking these are being set up for some sort of graduation or wedding ceremony, but it could be someone is having a chair sale, too! Enjoy!
I think the dog on the right is named “Cheese” and the other one is named “Crackers.” The title of the puzzle has nothing to do with the food on the table. Nothing what so ever. Enjoy!
It’s always nice to see someone at work get flowers. Of course, I thought it was fantastic for the lady who got an arrangement made of chocolate bars made to look like flowers, and it wasn’t even Valentine’s day! Yum!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle reminds me of something I heard on a semi-regular basis back when I was in the Navy. It essentially means that everyone is expected to go help with whatever task needed to be done. Sometimes it would also be called a “working party” as if that would somehow make it more fun. […]
My wife likes watching these antiques TV shows, and I like to wander around old flea markets. I found a pair of goggles like the ones in today’s jigsaw puzzle at a flea market when I was a kid. Those plus a cardboard box and I was a World War II pilot! Of course now […]
A lot of people are traveling for the holidays, and a lot of people are going to be stuck at the airport. I know. I’ve been there more than once. To those that are traveling, I wish you luck and an easy journey. If you have friends or family traveling to meet you, go easy […]
Continuing with my theme of red things, today’s jigsaw puzzle is of a red tailed hawk. No, it has nothing to do with politics, just the color red. Tomorrow I’ll change the subject. Enjoy!
When I was in Japan I was lucky enough to see a group of young men dressed much like this and playing the drums. It was a very good performance! Enjoy today’s jigsaw puzzle, and please share with your friends!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is an abstract of some flowers, and I almost missed publishing it. I got distracted by a shiny object. Entirely my fault! Sigh… I think I have too many electronic devices on my desk. I think I’ll have to do some housecleaning over the upcoming holidays. Enjoy!
I wish I had a small, private swimming pool like the one in today’s jigsaw puzzle. It would be nice to be able to go relax in it during warmer weather, and if it was heated it would be nice during cold weather too. Well, maybe someday. Or maybe I’ll retire someplace that has one. […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle sounds like the start of a bad joke, but I promise you it isn’t bathroom humor. I just wanted to do a subject I haven’t done before, and since I’ve been making these since 2005, I figured the odds of me showing an old bathroom was pretty small. I think a makeover […]
(Wow! The “love – hate” email from yesterday’s jigsaw puzzle is at about 50-50, although the “hate” ones are worded a bit stronger than the “love” ones. For example, Georgia, who lives in Alabama – go figure – said she #$@&$%# hated doing the puzzle but loved it when she finally got it finished. It […]
I haven’t had a really tough jigsaw puzzle in a while, and I had several requests so I’m throwing this one at you. It’s a three-color floral print and the medium one drove me nuts! I’m almost afraid to try the tough version. Enjoy and please inflict it on your friends and enemies alike!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of a bridge while looking at it from another bridge. It’s a bit different from my other bridge jigsaw puzzles. I do have to change it around once in a while. In fact, wait until you see what I have tomorrow! Enjoy!
I’ve done puzzles of the Roman Colosseum before. This one is from more of a distance and includes a lot more other buildings. When you are there, the curve of the building makes it seem smaller than it really is. Having the other buildings in the picture helps to bring it back into perspective. Enjoy!
The fruit slices in today’s jigsaw puzzle are well on their way to becoming a nice pie filling. Of course, my favorite kind is cherry pie, followed by pecan pie, but hey, pie is pie! Enjoy!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features some garden fresh red, yellow and green peppers. It’s like a stoplight full of peppers! OK, that didn’t sound like I thought it would. Enjoy!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a motorcycle with a sidecar. It’s from a place that gives safari type tours. I rode in a sidecar once. It was a weird sensation. Enjoy!
Well, if you played yesterday’s word search puzzle then you already know about one of our cats getting lost outside last night. I’m not sure I mentioned that it was very cold outside, and she had been outside for a good eight hours before we realized she was missing. (In our defense, she sleeps about […]
