For today’s jigsaw puzzle we go down a slightly spooky path late in the evening, just as a lightning storm is about to arrive. Clouds block out the sun making it appear darker than it is.
A strange creature howls in the distance. The rocky path you are on will soon get slippery when it starts raining.
Ahead you can see the fence between the woods and the spooky old house you are staying at. You hurry along, hoping the gate isn’t locked.
A burst of lightning hits a tree in the distance. The lightning’s path dances along your eyes long after the burst fades away. A thorn bush grabs at your clothes, slowing you down.
The first drops hit the ground as you vault over the gate, not taking the time to see if it’s locked or not.
You finally arrive at your destination, only to realize you left your keys in the car a mile or more down the path.
It’s OK. The door isn’t locked and someone took the time to light candles throughout the building. Funny, you were supposed to be the only one there this weekend.
A slight shiver runs down your spine as you open the door and step inside.
Ahead, visible in the candlelight, is your target. It’s a jigsaw puzzle of the very path you were just on.
