Monday is a perfect time to have the blues.
For example, I’m blue that we don’t have more Halloween candy left over.
I’m blue that I used the wrong type of face paint for Halloween, and now I can’t get it off.
I’m blue that I might have to show up at work looking like a Smurf.
So I chose a blue house for Monday’s jigsaw puzzle.
It seemed somehow appropriate.
