When I was a teenager years and years ago, I was into gymnastics and the 1972 Olympics were coming up.
I was excited to watch them on TV as some of the events were going to be broadcast live.
In fact, I had a T-shirt with a picture of a high bar on it with the slogan “Meet Me At The Bar – Munich 1972.”
Of course, that was the year tragedy struck the Olympics. Somehow that stuck with me and had some influence to me joining the Navy a decade later.
I still follow the Olympics and try to watch at least part of it every four years.
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a reminder of the visual pun of that T-shirt from all of those years ago.
