I had to find a specific house in a very crowded neighborhood so I could pick up Bob, and that adventure inspired today’s daily jigsaw puzzle.
It was one of those neighborhoods with about a hundred houses that didn’t exist five years ago, and all the houses looked alike. Same layout, same color, yards all looked the same, and worse, most people there all drove black SUV’s so there weren’t a lot of clues as to which one I was looking for.
Bob had been over to visit a co-worker of his, and after he left, he realized his wife had dropped him off.
Worse, he started to walk home before realizing home was about twenty miles away, and he couldn’t find his co-worker’s house again to ask for a ride home.
He finally just sat on the curb in front of a random house and called me. He gave me the house number, but didn’t know the name of the street he was on.
Fun times!
I called his wife (why didn’t he think of that!?!) and she told me how to find the neighborhood. Turns out he was three doors down from his co-worker’s house. Go figure.
