One place I haven’t been yet, but hope to go one day, is Heidelberg, Germany.
It has a lot of interesting features and a rich history dating back thousands of years.
In fact, a jaw bone was discovered there that is t he earliest evidence of human life in Europe, being somewhere between 200,000 to 600,000 years old.
About 500 years BC, a Celtic fortress of refuge and place of worship were built there.
