Hallstatt, according to Wikipedia, is a small town in the Austrian state of Upper Austria.
It was also declared a World Heritage Site. It has a rich history dating back to over 1200 B.C.
It’s a beautiful location and is one of the most photographed places in the world.
Sadly, over-tourism has as many as 30,000 tourists a day visiting even though the population is under eight hundred people.
Most of those visitors come in on buses for the day then leave at night.
Still, I’d like to go there but I think I will just visit it virtually instead.
Here’s a link to a large number of pictures of Hallstatt that you might enjoy.
