I would say I decided to play hooky and take the day off to go fishing, but my boss reads these things so I’ll have to wait until the weekend.
It has been some good weather for it lately, and if I thought the small lake behind where I worked had any fish in it, I might have to drop in a line at lunch sometime.
A jigsaw puzzle of some fishing gear and a fishing shack is the next best thing, except for the huge catfish I once caught while in Thailand.
