Every toy has a story, and this one does too.
You see, when I was a kid I had a slinky, but it was made of metal, not plastic. I used to have a lot of fun with it. It would even follow me whenever I went downstairs to play.
The plastic ones today just sort of sit there.
I think it may be because they don’t have nearly as many loops as the metal ones did, because the plastic is so much thicker.
Anyway, I had my metal slinky until the tragic day when it got tangled in my bicycle chain causing me to fall off.
I lost two favorite things that day. My slinky, and my dignity.
