Today’s jigsaw puzzle is an abandoned hyperboloid cooling tower for the defunct Power Plant IM, located in the Monceau-sur-Sambre suburb of Charleroi, Belgium.
It was built in 1929 for a coal power plant. It was shut down around 2007, and is now a destination for urban explorers and photographers.
It has sort of a science fiction look to it, which has been reflected in several movies over the years in one form or another.
