The inspiration for today’s daily jigsaw puzzle is that I spent a half-hour digging in my junk drawer in the shop just to find a tiny nut to fix a lamp today.
That thing has been collecting bits and pieces of hardware for thirty years. I pulled out almost a dozen paint can keys (the doohickey that works like a screw driver when you need to open a can of paint) out of that thing.
I found six “lost” screwdrivers, two pairs of pliers, rubber buttons, drill bits, three different hinges, a bunch of rotted rubber bands, two tape measures, and the head of a hammer left over from when the wooden handle broke.
It’s been waiting for me to buy a new handle for at least ten years.
There were at least 67 different size screws in there.
Oh, and somehow seven old packs of ketchup, all dried out and useless other than to leak out and make things fuse together stronger than an arc welder.
Anyway, I ended up going to the hardware store as I never did find a nut to fit, and that’s why I picked this picture for today’s jigsaw puzzle.
Enjoy!
