Sunday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle We’re going to the farmers market Sunday, and I’m looking forward to getting some fresh, locally grown vegetables. It’s all part of our slowly changing to better quality food to eat. Food has become crazy expensive, so as long as you are going broke buying it, you might as well […]
These birds in today’s jigsaw puzzle were actually listed as being owls, but they look more like angry birds to me. Why are they angry? Because Monday, that’s why! Enjoy! Angry Birds, jigsaw puzzle, owls, angry, Monday, that’s why
Well, It’s New Year’s Eve, and I’m publishing today’s jigsaw puzzle welcoming in the new year today instead of the first. I do it that way because otherwise it’s sort of like celebrating your birthday the day after the party. Not that I’ve had a birthday party in a few decades or anything. So, this […]
Thursday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Karen (who really hates the Internet sometimes) asked me for something to do with Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc. for a jigsaw puzzle. “Make it something really out there!” so I think I found the perfect item for her. It’s a bit of an abstract and I think it will […]
I saw balloons like the ones in today’s jigsaw puzzle at a fair a few years ago. You could buy them or win them as prizes. Now, here’s an interesting story about these kinds of balloons. Years ago I had a job selling pianos and organs at a local mall. One day I saw a […]
I found this photograph of some unusual plants growing in a bed of rocks to be very interesting. I still don’t know what kind of plants these are, although I did find something similar but not enough to give me a definitive answer. I’ve never seen a plant like this before, though. The rocks, definitely, […]
In the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, there is a temple dedicated to the memory of Confucius. It’s one of many temples there, and is a favorite spot for visitors and tourists alike. I’ve visited a lot of temples in my travels, but never got to Taiwan. I hope to go there one day. Anyway, I’m […]
Sometimes you just need a jigsaw puzzle that is pretty to look at but isn’t super hard to do, and after a crazy day like we had yesterday, I think it’s time for one. I found today’s puzzle to meet those requirements. It’s paper umbrellas, also known as parasols. I guess it’s because one is […]
I wanted to make a jigsaw puzzle expressing the tranquil power of nature. I personally find working jigsaw puzzles to be relaxing and refreshing. I also like nature, except for the bugs. For some reason, bugs seem to like me a lot, especially the ones that like to bite you. Still, I could sit and […]
Pins, or thumbtacks as they are sometimes known as, have sharp points, of course. I prefer the new ones made of plastic as the old metal style ones always seemed to land pointy side up in order to make them easier to find with your bare feet! The plastic ones tend to lay on their […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a surprise puzzle. You don’t get a preview and you don’t get any hints. Well, beyond the name of the puzzle, that is. Or is it? Maybe I just chose a random name to use, or maybe I scrambled the letters! I’ll never tell! Enjoy and please share!
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the beach, but if things are back to the old normal and the pandemic is over, we are going to the beach next year. It will be our first visit since I left the Navy back in 1999. Maybe we can add to our seashell collection. We […]
Well, I don’t have to go to work today because I’m on a short two-day vacation. YAY! Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a painting of a beautiful ocean-side city. Somewhere in my travels years and years ago I sailed right past this exact spot, but I can’t remember exactly where it was. Malaga, Spain, I believe, […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features some very large pots, vases and stands. They are nicely decorated as well. We’ve actually owned a few similar to these in the past. For some reason, they always ended up broken. It may have something to do with owning cats that like to climb on and in everything. Enjoy!
The amazing photograph of a beautiful face is enhanced by the butterfly and the feathers. It really looks weird but in a nice kind of way so I turned it into today’s jigsaw puzzle. I wasn’t sure what to make of this photograph when I first saw it, but it kind of grew on me. […]
With all the artwork I’ve used for jigsaw puzzles lately, I thought maybe we can use the tools of art for a jigsaw puzzle. In this picture, we have everything from brushes, pencils, chalk, charcoal and maybe some things I don’t recognize, and lots of different colors! Now go release your inner artist and enjoy!
Eva reminded me I hadn’t done any jigsaw puzzles of healthy food in a while, so I figured, why not? I also hadn’t done any mystery jigsaw puzzles either, so I decided to combine the two. You know it’s healthy eating, but what kind? You’ll need to solve the puzzle to find out! Enjoy!
We have a lot of deer in the woods around where my day job is. I sometimes see them in the evenings as I’m headed down the drive to the exit. Sometimes they cross between the buildings and I see them then. I spotted several the other day, and they were the inspiration for today’s […]
Today we travel back to the dark world (but not too dark) of the long lost places. Abandoned places. Buildings no longer used, and possibly haunted. Brrrr! Hey, they turned the heat off before we got there, OK? There are thousands of abandoned buildings around the world, and there’s a whole sub-culture of people who […]
Have you have had carob? It’s often used as a substitute for chocolate and is actually a legume, and is primary grown in the Mediterranean. The Carob Mill Museum is located in Cyprus and was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It’s also rated as one of the “must see” attractions there. At […]
