German Sisters

Friday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Since the next flag is Germany, I wanted something nice and different. I’ve never been to Germany, but I’ve worked with and known people from there. These three cute blond German girls looked like they would make a nice jigsaw puzzle, especially since they are all dressed alike.

Porto City – Thursday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

The next flag on our parade is from Portugal. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of Porto City, the second largest city in Portugal, and dates back to the 4th century. It features a rich culture, with lots of places to visit.

Chinese Embroidery

Wednesday’s Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s Translation Flag themed puzzle is from China. I’ve been there a half dozen times, playing tourist, and having a lot of fun. I bought my mother a Chinese bathrobe many, many years ago. It had some fancy embroidery on it, much like the embroidery in today’s jigsaw puzzle. Oh, I don’t […]

War Memorial In Tapgol Park, Seoul, South Korea

Tuesday’s Jigsaw Puzzle The third translation flag at the top of the page is Korean. I visited Korea a few times when I was in the Navy. The people there are generally very friendly, and there is a lot to see there as well. The picture in today’s jigsaw puzzle is of the War Memorial […]

Toblino Castle, Italy

Monday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle The country for Monday’s jigsaw puzzle is Toblino Castle in Italy. It has an interesting history involving murder and romance. (Yeah, I know. My puzzles are to die for, right?) Ahem. Anyway, this puzzle is in my International series because of the translation flags at the top of the page. If […]

Belfast – Sunday’s Daily Puzzle

Since a lot of folks checked out the translation flags at the top of the page yesterday, I decided to spend a few days doing jigsaw puzzles of scenes from other countries. Of course, Bob had to give me some trouble over it. I picked out a nice photograph of our first foreign themed puzzle, […]

Old Stove – Saturday’s Jigsaw Puzzle

(Note about the little flags at the top of the page – They don’t represent the countries where my visitors come from, they represent languages. Click on a flag to see the web page translated into that language. I have visitors from over 60 countries visit and play the puzzles. If you know anyone from […]

Horses – Friday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

OK, no fancy writeup about today’s jigsaw puzzle. It’s just two horses, mother and child, running together. Enjoy!

Sunflower – Thursday’s Daily Puzzle

OK, this one is a bit of a surprise jigsaw puzzle, but only in that you don’t get a preview. It’s a sunflower. I liked it because it’s a tad bit different from the other ones I’ve done. Since I’ve done several other sunflowers this year, I made it a surprise puzzle. OK, now I’m […]

Happy Train – Wednesday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

I like trains. Don’t get me wrong, but this train… That face! It was just looking at me. The eyes seemed to follow me wherever I went. It’s the face of a nightmare! Yeah, as a kid I didn’t like cartoon like faces on things that shouldn’t have a face. I got over it, but […]

Tuesday’s Jigsaw Puzzle – Lion

Lions don’t make good pets, although I have a cat that sometimes thinks he is a lion. Don’t worry, his meow is worse than his bite. Still, the lion has many friends in the jungle, until he gets hungry, that is. Meow.

Raindrop Leafs

Monday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzles OK, I dropped the ball on the July 4th holiday. I sometimes do the puzzles up a few days in advance, and didn’t put two plus two together, so I didn’t get four, or fourth, as it were. I meant to do a puzzle celebrating the date, but didn’t do it. […]

Small Church in Vevey – Sunday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

Vevey is a small town in Switzerland. Vevey is one of the ‘pearls of the Swiss Riviera, according to some tourist websites. In addition to the link above, if you simply Google “Vevey” then click on “Images” you can find a gazillion pictures of the place, and find some interesting websites about the place. Yup, […]

Tennis Court Seats

Saturday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I went to a tennis tournament once. I remember showing up really early so I could get a good seat. There were a couple of problems with my plan. 1. All seats were assigned according to your ticket, so getting there early didn’t help. 2. I still had my pick of […]

Mexican Souvenirs

Friday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzles Years ago I went to Mexico, and while there I bought some souvenirs, and some things for gifts for my family. I shipped them home, but unfortunately the post office decided to play earthquake with the box. My carefully wrapped pieces of glass, and the wooden toys in the box […]

Frustrated – Thursday’s Daily Puzzle

I’m frustrated. Ever feel like you just can’t get your boat in the water? I guess it’s better than being up the creek without a paddle. You see, my wife’s new kitten knocked over one of the mouse cages, and a bunch of them got loose. (She raises mice to feed the snake.) We caught […]

Orange Eyes – Wednesday’s Jigsaw Puzzle

The cat in today’s jigsaw puzzle has some pretty orange eyes. It’s the first one I’ve seen like that. I have to wonder if it was photo-shopped or not. In any case, the puzzles have a few extra pieces today, so spare a few extra minutes to play.

City Lights – Tuesday’s Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle

It was a dark and cloudy night… So there I was, late at night, following the suspect as he crept along the street while trying to avoid the lights. I could avoid the lights, too. Problem was, I kept tripping over these strange bumps in the road. After that last stumble, I gently placed my […]

World Cup – Monday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

I’ve been hearing a lot about the world cup in the news lately, and when I found this photograph from the 2006 World cup, I thought it would make a good puzzle. To be honest, I have no ideal what all these people and balloons have to do with it, but I imagine it has […]

Football – Sunday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

Well, there’s always a football game on TV somewhere. I think there’s even a football channel. I don’t really watch football that much. I have a lack of time and a lack of cable TV. My relatives all like football, and I have attended a few games, including pro football games in the past. Way, […]

Mother Love

Saturday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Cats are strange creatures. (I would say they are puzzling creatures, but that would be like saying rain is wet.) My wife’s new kitten decided to start playing with the other cat today. The other cat just wanted to be left alone. The kitten refused to get the message, until the […]
