I had to get into a cabinet where we store stuff we collected from all over the world, and managed to knock a jade Buddha statue over. It didn’t break. My foot cushioned the fall.
Did I mention the statue weighs ten pounds and has sharp edges at the base?
Needless to say, I uttered a few non-Buddha like words in the process.
Buddha accepted it as the way of the universe.
I blame it on Bob who wanted to look at the Japanese chopsticks that were behind Buddha.
The Buddha in today’s jigsaw puzzle isn’t made of jade, but it does look like it was dropped on Bob’s hard head.
