Monday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle
If stories were fish then the one Bob told his wife last night was a whopper!
It was a whale of a tale!
You see, Bob told his wife he was going to the local aquarium to see the fish.
He actually ended up at a bar called The Brown Barnacle or something like that.
They have, in addition to beer, a large aquarium built into one wall. It has a lot of fish in it and Bob, being Bob and all, decided to go fishing after he had a few.
What inspired this little fishing trip was one of the TV’s there was playing this program (National Geographic, I think) that showed these people catching fish with just their hands.
Well, Bob somehow made his way into the back room where they have a stepladder they use to service the aquarium, and it wasn’t long before someone noticed these hands moving around in there and an audience quickly formed around the tank.
Of course the one he caught was this spiny thing with these barbs sticking out the sides. At this point, no one was watching the TV.
This resulted in a lot of hollering and thrashing around, and next thing we know Bob’s head is going down in the tank like he’s bobbing for apples.
The employees managed to catch him and pull him out before he went all the way in.
Long story short, Bob owes them about a thousand bucks for a new fish, and he told his wife about the one that got away while he was ‘fishing.’
Bob’s wife knows him better than that, and it will be a long while before Bob is let out of the house again and hopefully he’s learned not to tell his wife fish tales.
