You can’t own a cat. The most you can do is provide it with free room and board.
If you are lucky, they will even let you pet them, but only on their own terms and only for as long as they think it is keeping you from doing something important.
For example, the cat in today’s jigsaw puzzle is thinking if it will allow it’s human to have the water bottle or if it should knock it over.
My money is on either the water bottle being knocked over or the cat will decide to sharpen it’s claws on the human’s bare legs.
Word of advice – bare legs are never a good idea around a cat – ever!
