When I was exploring Japan, I walked across the Kajika Bridge in today’s daily jigsaw puzzle in the hot spring town of Ikaho Onsen.
It took a couple of hours to get there from Tokyo, but was well worth the ride. I was able to get a room in a traditional Japanese inn, and it wasn’t cheap!
For starters, I went in early autumn when the leaves were starting to change color, along with a half-million other tourists.
My room was actually about a half-hour train ride away, but it was a weekend so I didn’t have to rush back to base the next day.
Anyway, when I spotted this picture, I recognized the bridge right away, and it became my top pick for our jigsaw puzzle.
