Jigsaw puzzle: A source of both entertainment and frustration.
As a joke, I sent Bob a jigsaw puzzle with the picture flipped upside down.
It gets better: The picture was of a 300-piece tabletop jigsaw puzzle I had completed.
The best part: The original jigsaw puzzle picture showed the edges of each original piece, and they didn’t line up with the shape of the pieces in my puzzle.
I found out later from the angry text she sent me that his wife finished the puzzle for him. See, I had made it a surprise puzzle so they couldn’t peek at the finished picture.
I might not hear from either one of them for few days. That’s fine. I do believe I have to be careful next April 1st, though. There’s no telling what they will cook up by then.
Oops, I forgot – today’s jigsaw puzzle is a nice rendition of a Phoenix which is a fiery bird that rises from its own ashes after it has burned out. I always thought a Phoenix was a city Glen Campbell was trying to get to.
