I had a very strange question asked of me today: did anyone ever make me work a jigsaw puzzle, or do something like it, as a school assignment?
The answer is no, as far as I remember.
Of course, my grandmother liked jigsaw puzzles, and I would sometimes help her, but no one forced me to do it.
I didn’t really get into it until my mid-to-late 40s, and even then, I worked on them because I wanted to. Sometimes I would help my wife.
She’s the type of person who doesn’t even blink when I give her a 2,000-piece jigsaw puzzle.
Of course, she also works the daily Sudoku puzzle in the newspaper – in ink!
OK, enough rambling for one day.
