I saw a lot of scooters when I was living in Japan. They were colorful and compact.
This was before electric bikes became popular. It did cut down on the number of cars, but they were noisy!
Being in Japan, where the crime rate was very low, people didn’t have to worry about them being stolen. At worst, they might get a ticket or be towed if they were over the line in approved parking areas or parked in a spot reserved for cars.
I saw a couple of scooters parked outside a semi-local mall when I stopped for lunch at the food court, and they inspired today’s jigsaw puzzle.
Enjoy!
