I was in Greece years ago, but unfortunately, I didn’t get to stop in Santorini, but today’s jigsaw puzzle is the next best thing to going.
That, or maybe a travel documentary, or old-style slides from when your parents visited on their honeymoon.
Santorini is actually the name of the island in Greece, and the picture is of the town Oia, which is located on the northwestern tip of the island.
If you will look to the left side, you can see a dark blue awing and a sign for the famous 1800-Floga Restaurant.
You can also go to a wonderfully preserved Bronze Age Minoan city often referred to as the “Pompeii of the Aegean”.
A massive volcanic eruption buried the entire town in ash around 1600 B.C., leaving multi-story stone buildings and advanced drainage systems completely intact.
There are also lots of beaches to sunbath or go swimming, or you could even visit several wineries.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to book your hotel room before you go!
