Today’s daily jigsaw puzzle is of a place called Hamnøy, and it’s the oldest fishing village in the Lofoten Islands of Northern Norway.
The village is famous for its iconic red rorbuer (traditional fisherman’s cabins), many of which have been converted into modern tourist accommodations like the Eliassen Rorbuer.
The dramatic peak in the background is part of the Reinefjord landscape, and this specific viewpoint is a world-renowned photography spot typically captured from the Hamnøy Bridge.
It looks like an interesting place to visit and I have added it to my bucket list which has nearly a hundred places on it now – and that’s after I went back and removed a bunch!
Enjoy!
