I had to make a road trip yesterday and I made a detour to a small town to find a convenience store to buy some lottery tickets.
I don’t know if you ever noticed it or not, but the big winners always seem to hit the small mom-and-pop stores in small towns, and not the big retailers whom probably sell fifty times as many tickets as the small stores.
I figured it might give me slightly better odds of winning.
I mean, the difference between 0.00001% chance and 0.00002% is like double the odds.
At least, that’s the way I explained it to my wife. I don’t think she bought it, though.
Still, small-town charm makes for a good jigsaw puzzle!
Enjoy!
