Bob, my next door neighbor, stumbled over in a state best described as “three sheets to the wind.”
Now, I just happened to be at my computer and had run across the picture in today’s jigsaw puzzle, but wasn’t going to use it before Bob showed up and I decided to have a bit of fun with him.
I told him I was going to use a picture of an African Grey elephant, and asked him if he wanted to see it.
Well, Bob, being an agreeable drunk, said “sure!”
I called up the picture of this pink one, and showed it to him. I started talking about how the skin is a darker shade of gray than the ones from India, and a few other facts while i kept going back to what a pretty shade of gray it was.
Bob just sort of sat there, mouth open, and head bobbing occasionally in agreement.
He eventually forced himself to a standing position and mumbled something about having to get rid of his cheap booze before his wife got home.
I guess there is something to that saying about seeing pink elephants!
