Friday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

The image in today’s jigsaw puzzle isn’t a famous painting but is actually an advertisement for Ausable Horse Nails from long ago.
It shows a blacksmith putting a shoe on a horse’s back leg with several wooden boxes of nails laying around along with his tools.
When I found it I wondered who the artist was and spent several hours trying to find that information out.
Advertisements were a bit different a hundred years ago than today!
