Granted, you usually see a birds nest with an egg or two in it later in the spring, but maybe it’s just some wishful thinking on my part.
When I was a child there was a bird’s nest in a tree about ten feet away from my bedroom window. I borrowed my parent’s binoculars so I could watch the baby birds hatch and grow up without going near the nest.
The birds nested there only that one year, though. Still, my backyard had a lot of trees in it so there were plenty of birds, just none that were about level with my window.
