Tuesday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

Painter Asher Durand is in my top ten list of favorite artists.
This painting is called “The Beeches” and it has nothing to do with swimming.
Instead, as you can tell by the spelling of “Beeches,” it has to do the the meticulously rendered trees. They are a mixture of beech and basswood.
The image was faded so I did a little bit of color correction to brighten it up for you.
