Well, I don’t have to go to work today because I’m on a short two-day vacation. YAY! Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a painting of a beautiful ocean-side city. Somewhere in my travels years and years ago I sailed right past this exact spot, but I can’t remember exactly where it was. Malaga, Spain, I believe, […]
Wanting to do another ‘people’ jigsaw puzzle, I looked around and stumbled across this beautiful painting of a young woman. I hope you enjoy it!
As a change of pace from the previous tougher jigsaw puzzles I thought I would slow it down a bit with a nice butterfly. Granted, it’s an artistic take as opposed to a photograph, but I think it’s a good painting anyway. What do you think? Does it make for a good jigsaw puzzle? Enjoy!
Wednesday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle It’s time for a bit of a classical painting for today’s jigsaw puzzle. I picked a nice one from Franz Winterhalter that is of the Empress Eugénie of France. She was married to Napoleon III. Franz Winterhalter is one of my more favorite artists of the time period. Enjoy!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a painting of a mostly blue parrot, but with some orange too! I don’t think I’ve used this picture for a jigsaw puzzle before, but after 26 years, it’s possible I did at one point. Either way, the puzzles themselves are new. Enjoy!
Lisa asked for something more realistic in the way of a building than yesterday’s painting of a house. She also said to make it a bit of a challenge, so I took her up on it, and found this facade for today’s jigsaw puzzle. Enjoy!
Paula said yesterday’s picture was a bit weird, (Yup!) and asked that I do a more ‘classical’ painting for a jigsaw puzzle. I think the houses in this image do the trick. Enjoy!
There are a lot of little specialty markets in our part of the state, and we have to go check them out every so often. We always find something new or interesting, from food and spices to household goods to even toys for the kids. I once found a nice painting at one and still […]
Well, I did know who painted the picture in today’s jigsaw puzzle, but now my mind has drawn a blank. I’m sure the name will come to me at some point but for right now, I can’t remember who painted this. It’s a bit of a medieval setting, and I’ve used other paintings by this […]
I found a really old painting that was actually printed in a book, and wanted to see what I could do with it. I put in a nice sky, enhanced the colors a bit, and did a few additional tweaks to it and thought the result was pretty good. What do you think of today’s […]
Here’s an interesting take on a house for today’s jigsaw puzzle. It’s a nice painting with a bit extra added in and a little bit subtracted. OK, I put the balloon in but removed the lines the artist left in to align where things went in the picture. Enjoy!
I found this painting for today’s jigsaw puzzle while searching around, and thought you might enjoy it too! Don’t forget to share!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a bit of an interesting painting featuring some jabbering ducks. I thought it was rather cute. Enjoy!
Monday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of a painting of three horses by artist Charles Towne. It’s called Three Horses in a Stormy Landscape. Enjoy and please share!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a painting depicting what can only be described as a party in medieval times. Things sure were different back then. Enjoy!
Vincenzo Campi is one of my favorite artists. He painted a lot of pictures about food and the people who prepared it. In a lot of them there was always a woman holding a small child while someone else worked with the food. The painting in today’s jigsaw puzzle is called “Fishmongers.” Similar ones are […]
Tuesday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Painter Asher Durand is in my top ten list of favorite artists. This painting is called “The Beeches” and it has nothing to do with swimming. Instead, as you can tell by the spelling of “Beeches,” it has to do the the meticulously rendered trees. They are a mixture of beech […]
This rustic kitchen painting reminds me of my grandmother’s place when I was a kid. She had an old wood burning stove similar to this one but it was on the back porch because that’s where they left it after they got their first gas stove. Being a kid I liked to play with it […]
