I’d like to have a gazebo shaped like this. I think it’s pretty cool! I can see this in my backyard. Of course, having lived in Japan for ten years and visited China a half-dozen times, I did acquire a taste for the architecture. Enjoy and don’t forget to share today’s jigsaw puzzle!
I like what’s waiting for you at the end of the bridge in today’s jigsaw puzzle. It’s the entrance into a nice garden area. It sort of reminds me of my time in Japan. (Thank you to the people who wrote to say they liked yesterday’s jigsaw puzzle!) Enjoy and please share #jigsawpuzzles – thank […]
Sunday’s Extra Clean Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Japanese bath houses are a bit of a tradition in Japan, which kind of makes sense because if they were in Russia they’d be Russian bath houses. Many people in Japan go to these type of bath houses because they live in a small housing facility that may not […]
I loved it when I lived in Japan. It was an amazing place. To be honest, I’m not happy with the background color in today’s jigsaw puzzle. While I love the picture in the puzzle, all the different colors made it hard to pick a background color. Either way, I still like it. I remember […]
Sunday’s Memories Of Japan Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s jigsaw puzzle reminds me of when I lived in Japan. It was nice, and I enjoyed living there. It’s also a bit different, and I hope you like it. Enjoy!
I saw displays a lot like this in several countries overseas. Hello Kitty was always there, especially in Japan. OK, quick update on the signed software. On some Windows XP machines, it may not read the certificate so it may identify it still as unknown publisher. I’m trying to figure that one out and get […]
We have a few miniature dragon statues we’ve collected over the years, including a golden colored one in a glass case near my desk. That one was the inspiration for today’s jigsaw puzzle. The collection started when I was living in Japan. I picked up one or two in China and in Hong Kong. Those […]
When we lived in Japan we often saw displays of cookies that looked like the ones in today’s jigsaw puzzle. They had different flavors, some of which were quite good! I have to admit that I almost didn’t buy a second one. The first one looked like it had chocolate in it, but instead it […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle reminds me of crossing over the train tracks in Japan while walking to a different platform. I would sometimes stop and just watch the trains coming in and leaving from the overhead crosswalk. Yep, getting around in Japan was very easy. They have an incredible mass transit system there. Enjoy!
When we lived in Japan we knew some people that owned Bonsai trees. One was nearly a hundred years old. The tree, not the owner. I learned there that sometimes Bonsai trees are passed down from one generation to the next so of course I had to pass down this Bonsai tree picture as a […]
As Japanese gardens go, this one is pretty large. It’s almost like a small park. These are public gardens, as opposed to the private ones people have at their homes. I had a favorite one I would visit once in a while when I lived in Japan. It was about an hour’s walk away, if […]
My bike is rather old. I’ve had it since I was in Japan. It’s over twenty years old. One of these days I’m going to put some new tires on it and start riding again. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of an old bike, of course. Enjoy!
I remember a store in Japan that had the fruit and vegetables stacked up just like in today’s jigsaw puzzle. I thought it was pretty ingenious, myself. Here’s the puzzle. Enjoy!
You can’t help but learn to love Asian food when you live in Japan for ten years. All those side trips to Hong Kong, China, Thailand and the Philippines probably helped some too. Now I’m getting a gradual introduction to Vietnamese food as well. Of course, everyone has their favorite foods, and foods they won’t […]
There is a town in Japan called Nikko, and it has several famous rivers among other things. I visited there on an overnight trip back in the mid 80’s. I imagine it hasn’t changed all that much since then. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of one of the many bridges crossing the rivers there. Enjoy!
I don’t have a lot to say about today’s darn jigsaw puzzle, other than it’s located in Japan. It’s a very popular tourist spot. Enjoy!
There was a decorative walkway type corridor much like this one near where I was stationed in Japan. It was in a little park, and had benches on either side. We had a few picnics in that park. One thing I learned about Japan they have ants there too. Enjoy!
I’m not much of a fan of green beans, unless they are stir fried. I really don’t like vegetables that have been cooked until they are mushy, which is why I probably didn’t like them much as a kid. Since living in Japan where a lot of foods are stir fried, I’ve learned to like […]
Monday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I’ve never been to Chicago, but I have seen similar things in other places. San Francisco comes to mind, as well as San Diego. There was this one building in Japan that had a park on the roof that had a merry-go-round on it. We took our kids there to ride […]
Did you see the link to our new Fan Page over on the right side of the page? We kicked it off with fifteen brand new jigsaw puzzles. Check it out! OK, back to our regularly scheduled jigsaw puzzle. In Japan it is not unusual to see small street vendors set up at night all […]
I like sushi. I learned to eat it while living in Japan. It’s pretty good. You put it in the microwave for a minute, and it tastes like fish! I’m kidding, but the sushi over there is much better than what you usually find in grocery stores here. I did find a Japanese restaurant locally […]
