Tuesday’s Daily Jig Saw Puzzle The force is strong in this one. No! She must learn the ways of the Ninja in order to destroy the warlord Koobi-Kan and seek revenge for her father! A Jedi does not seek revenge, nor does she fight because of emotion. She must master the light saber and learn […]
No, this thing with the yellow tentacles isn’t some creepy alien coming to eat your brains. It is a palm flower, although I’d hate to have one growing out of my hands. It actually grows out of a palm tree, I think. I’m not really sure. In any case, it probably wouldn’t hurt to wear […]
Except for some occasional rain, it is a good time to visit an outdoor cafe. Just try not to get sunburned. Today’s puzzles are a little bit harder than the usual ones, but I think you will still have fun. It’s a good time for a small challenge.
I took my camera out looking for something nice to photograph for a jigsaw puzzle. Then I saw the young girl with the $800 zoom lens. I put my $29 camera back in my pocket and went home. Sigh… Gotta get me a better camera.
I guess outdoor fires are better than indoor fires, in certain circumstances. Others, not so much. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is dedicated to someone I went to high school with, Tommy Tate. He was a fire captain, and he passed away a couple of days ago. I didn’t know about it until I read his obituary […]
I admit it. I like fruit tarts. Actually I like any kind of tarts. Except jalapeno tarts. Other than that, tarts is tarts, especially when they are tart. OK, there’s a joke in here somewhere about the Queen of Tarts, but dang if I can figure it out. Now if you will excuse me, I’m […]
Well, I don’t have any idea who Olive Harvest is or what she did, but I guess she was famous enough for them to make a statue of her. I do know one thing. I’m pretty certain she had nothing to do with Popeye. I took a closer look at the statues, and now I’m […]
Parts of this traditional kitchen in today’s jigsaw puzzle come from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, while parts come from the early 20th century. I just hope the soup in the kettle is from the 21st century. Have you ever cooked anything over an open fire? Other than while camping, that is. I […]
Chinese Temple in Bangkok, Thailand I have visited a few temples in my travels. I liked the looks of this one. The statue with multiple arms has it’s own story. The object in each hand, and the position of each hand not holding something has it’s own meaning. One of these days I will find […]
Sunday’s Cooking Jigsaw Puzzle I seem to have ruffled a few feathers, but with nothing to do with this website. Different issue. Making people think sometimes has that effect. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of a lovely young girl preparing some vegetables in the kitchen. It looks yummy! I wonder what she is preparing. Soup? A […]
It looks like most people got yesterday’s April Fool jigsaw puzzle, but there were a few who didn’t. You might say they were incensed. OK, for those that didn’t get the joke, download the puzzle from yesterday and play it. It’s not that big (no pun intended) and will only take a minute to work […]
Well, with spring finally here, and summer right around the corner, April 1st seems like a good day to shear the sheep. Baaaaaa.
My favorite birds are chicken and turkey, but I guess these will do as pets. Today’s puzzle has a macaw and two cockatoos. One of the cockatoos is named Fred, and the Macaw is Baretta. The other cockatoo is called Tony, and “you can take dat to da bank!” I read where a woman was […]
Stones would play inside her head. La la la la la la la la la on stones.. Or something like that. I can’t exactly remember how the Neil Diamond song went. So the stones in today’s jigsaw puzzle aren’t rolling, or even musical, but they do have pretty colors. (So what’s the difference between a […]
It snowed today! After 80+ degree temperatures last week, this weekend it got cold and on Monday we got snow. It makes me glad I’m not living in a wildlife park somewhere. Brrrrrrrrr….. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is brought to you by the letters I, t, s, c, o, l, and d.
I was watching an old, old western movie today, and even though I knew who the bad guys were, I still enjoyed it. Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a mystery puzzle, meaning you don’t get to see the picture until you solve it. I gave it a western theme, hence the name “Stagecoach” for the title. […]
Sunday is a good day to bake a loaf of fresh bread, or to serve the bread if you made it on Saturday. My wife made banana nut bread Saturday night. It did not survive until Sunday. Oh, well. There’s always store bought bread.
It’s such a nice day, I think I’ll go spend some time outside. There’s this old chair made from wagon wheels out in the garden. It has seen better days, but you can still sit in it without getting too many splinters in your sitting down parts. You just have to watch out for a […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a “Scratch ‘N’ Sniff” puzzle. When you are finished with the puzzle, gently scratch your screen over some of the herbs and you will smell it! It’s amazing what digital technology can do these days. Well, maybe not. Scratch your screen too hard and you might be smelling fried fingernail. Seriously. […]
Don’t blame me, blame Gwen. She wanted a really tough puzzle, and I had to get rid of all these old chairs anyway. Imagine me trying to clean up this mess. Somewhere under all this was my car keys to boot. I dropped them when I started unloading this mess. Anyway, enjoy the jigsaw puzzle, […]
