Street Market You can find street markets all over the world. Some places don’t have shopping malls like we have here in the USA. For some, a street market is their shopping center. In China I once saw a street that had over a hundred vendors, all outside, none with a roof over their heads. […]
Today is the day after yesterday, and yesterday was Valentine’s day. Today’s jigsaw puzzle sort of goes along with yesterday’s theme. In this case it is of two wedding rings locked together by a padlock. I know what I think it means, but I’d like to hear what you think. Enjoy!
Dang! Valentine’s Day again. I sure hope the gas mart up the road has something Vanentiney I can get for my wife real quick. Maybe one of those little roses they sell. Or a new funnel to help her put oil in her car. I know – a gas card and two lottery tickets! Yeah, […]
Sara told me all about her and her sister growing up together. She was the youngest, and her big sister took care of her when their parents couldn’t. I went and found this photograph to use for today’s jigsaw puzzle because of Sara’s story. Sara, this one is for you.
The Passiria Valley, shown in today’s jigsaw puzzle, is located in Northern Italy. One of the communities there (called a ‘comune’) is called “Moos.” At first I thought it was because they had cows there, but in this case “Moos” means “bog” or “wetlands.” I think I like the idea of the cows better. Moo.
The crazy weather we are having this winter makes for some nice outside lunches. Not too cool, not too hot. Today’s jigsaw puzzle has a few more pieces than normal, so it’s a tad bit harder. At least it’s Saturday so you have a little more time to work the puzzle. Enjoy!
OK, I have to admit the inspiration for today’s jigsaw puzzle came from the cereal I was eating for breakfast. Somehow cat hair got into my bowl of organic healthy crunch cereal, cardboard and twigs. That’s one of the problems with living in a house full of cats. Sigh. Sometimes I miss my chocolate coated […]
Margaret and Allen asked for an abstract jigsaw puzzle, something a little difficult. Request granted! I found this abstract swirl that looks almost like different colored smoke rings. Oh, I had a couple of people tell me they thought the machine from yesterday’s puzzle was for removing corn from the cob. Sounds right to me.
Ghost In The Old Machine This machine in today’s jigsaw puzzle is old enough to have a ghost living inside it, although it would have to be a small ghost. I have no idea what this machine was supposed to do, so if you know, please let me know. Thanks!
The stairs in today’s jigsaw puzzle are from the house of an artist in Costa Rica. (The artist’s name wasn’t listed.) I like jigsaw puzzles of stairs, and this one is different enough to be a bit of a challenge. Enjoy! (Have you checked out the puzzles on the Fan Page yet?)
Paris Metro Sign (Quick note: – I just added five more new jigsaw puzzles to the Facebook Fan Page. I visited France once, but never made it to Paris. I did, however, see a sign showing how far it was to Paris. I did get to see Nice, however. Perhaps next time.
Sarah asked for a people picture for a jigsaw puzzle, preferably a child. I found this photograph of a cute young girl with a doll and figured it would fill the bill. Enjoy!
I have a healthy sinus headache going on right now. I had to leave work early, and when I got home I decided to lay down and take a nap for about an hour. I woke up six hours later. The first photograph I looked at for today’s jigsaw puzzle being a pile of pills […]
Down home on the farm it was time to do the chores. I had to put out some feed for the cows before they came home. Little did I know they were hanging out at farmer Brown’s fence, looking to score some milk duds. See, Farmer Brown’s son, Little Randy (who is 6’7″ and 300 […]
Vickilynne sent me some photographs she took a while back. This is one of them. As you can see, she’s a very good photographer. Flowers always make good jigsaw puzzles, of course. Thank you, Vickilynne!
Sue sent me a couple of photographs of her Westie’s. This cute little one in today’s jigsaw puzzle is Mabel. Thanks Sue!
Some people like mushrooms on their pizza. I’m not one of them. I don’t like mushrooms. Never have, never will. I prefer pepperoni on my pizza. I only like mushrooms when I can use them for something like a jigsaw puzzle.
Monday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I was watching this show about government architecture, and one of the buildings it showed was the capital building in Austin. That reminded me I had some photographs of buildings, and sure enough, I had one of that very building. 2 + 2 = A jigsaw puzzle! Enjoy!
Marigolds The weather lately has been unseasonably nice. My wife has some flowers that are starting to bloom already. And I thought I was confused about the weather! Sharon asked for some flowers for a jigsaw puzzle, and I am happy to oblige. Enjoy!
Kittens are always cute. Until they bite you, that is. One of these three kittens appear to be watching its mother. Or the guy driving the ice cream truck. It’s a little hard to tell.
