Artists work in different mediums. I guess the one that carved the melon in today’s jigsaw puzzle likes to work in fruit. It amazes me how people do this when I have a hard time cutting one in a straight line. At least this way you can eat your artwork when you are done.
Tuesday’s Sweet Tooth Jigsaw Puzzle I don’t know what it is about cream cake, but you just know if you see one, you have to have some. With this one I had to get up close and personal with it, if you know what I mean. Banana cream cake at that! Whoo-hoo! Enjoy, and may […]
I decided to make some onion bread today. After getting all the ingredients and carefully mixing them according to the directions, I got… Nothing like what is in today’s jigsaw puzzle. My onion bread was more of an onion hockey puck. I know it had onions in it because it made my wife and daughter […]
Several people wrote to say they enjoyed the last abstract jigsaw puzzle I did (about a week ago) and asked for another. So, after nearly three requests, I am happy to present you with another one, called “Floral Abstract.” Oh, I’ll be updating you on Bob’s latest antics shortly. It’s a doozy!
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a group of Purple Mangosteens, turn a reddish purple color with a tough rind. I had some when I was in Thailand. They weren’t bad at all. Of course, before the ripen the rind can hurt if one of these things fall on your head. Enjoy!
The closed doors in today’s jigsaw puzzle don’t really mean anything special to me, I just thought it would make for a good jigsaw puzzle. Well, OK, maybe they mean a little to me. One of my favorite places to hang out when I was a kid was locked up this way for a few […]
Elizabeth asked for a jigsaw puzzle of a little Yorkie, and I’m happy to present Baxter for your puzzling pleasure. He’s a friendly little dog and happy to pose for the camera. She also asked about Bob and why I haven’t written about him lately. Bob’s wife has had him on a short leash since […]
I like to walk in the woods. There were woods behind our house when I was a kid, and I used to play in them all the time. There was a great big moss covered tree, just like the one in today’s jigsaw puzzle. It was also a good climbing tree. The only thing I […]
Back when I was in the Navy and stationed in Japan, we visited the Philippines on a regular basis. There is an area called Bohol that is a first class island province. It is a beautiful area and is very popular with tourists. I’d like to be there on vacation now. Sigh… Anyway, this photograph […]
Peaches (yes, that’s her name) said Monday’s were usually a bit of a jumble for her, and asked for a jigsaw puzzle to go along with it. I asked her if she wanted it easy, hard or tough. She said hard. She couldn’t handle tough on a Monday, especially since all of her friends had […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a French cottage. I don’t know for sure it is in France, but I think it’s a good chance. It’s also the first day of September, which means new TV shows start up soon. (Yawn!) Sorry about that. I really don’t watch much TV anymore. I have the Internet!
This small village is located in Morocco. I thought it was very interesting in it’s structure. Those small white dots you see are satellite dishes all over the place. I found this jigsaw puzzle pretty fun to play, and a little tough. Enjoy!
Having visited India once, I found the photograph in today’s jigsaw puzzle to be somewhat familiar. I found the people there to be genuinely friendly. It was crowded, of course. There are a lot of people in today’s jigsaw puzzle. Enjoy!
A few years back an owl took up residence in a tree right next to our yard. He was only there for a few months, but he was a beautiful creature. Today’s jigsaw puzzle reminds me of that owl. Of course, this one won’t keep you awake at night like that one did. Enjoy!
There’s nothing better than home made pizza and a scary movie on a stormy night. Well, almost home made. The tomatoes were home grown, but the flour for the crust and the pepperoni were store bought, as was the cheese. I don’t have a big enough yard to raise a gopher, much less a dairy […]
Lily asked me for a jigsaw puzzle of some colorful flowers. Since she is a sweet lady, I thought she would like these. I’m sure you will to. Enjoy!
I haven’t done a jigsaw puzzle of fruit and veggies like this in a while, and as I was creating one of my fruit and veggie salads, I thought to myself, “Self, why not make some potato chips?” Sadly, I didn’t have any potatoes, so I thought about using fruit and vegetables for a jigsaw […]
Saturday’s Artistic Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a painting by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. I’ve featured some of his paintings before and received good response on them. Since it’s a different size than my usual puzzles, you may find it a bit more challenging. Enjoy!
Pickup Truck Under The Sunset Sometimes I drive out to the lake to throw a line in the water and watch the sunset. That’s why I chose this photograph for today’s jigsaw puzzle. It seemed like a relaxing way to kick-start the weekend. Enjoy!
