Friday’s International Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I thought today we might pay a visit to a place called Valence, located in France. Valence, France is on the TripAdvisor Best Places to Visit list, which is good enough for me. Next time I’m in France, I’m going! They have parks, art museums, fine food, expensive hotels (OK, […]
Le Moulin is a painting by Henri Julien Félix Rousseau , and was painted in 1879. Henri didn’t start painting seriously until his early 40’s and he retired from his job before he turned fifty to work on his paintings full time. I’ve featured a couple of his paintings as jigsaw puzzles before and they […]
Wednesday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I was looking at an online estate sale when I saw a picture of a beautiful globe, much like one we owned when I was a child. I liked to see what places I could find and wonder what it would be like to visit those places. Perhaps that is one […]
Karen asked me for something simple for a jigsaw puzzle, and this picture of a wall mural seems to work just fine. Enjoy!
Saturday my wife said we should go look for some antiques. I asked which room she wanted to start in. (Don’t worry. I ducked but that bowl will never be the same again!) We have a few favorite places she likes to go, and this weekend was the first time we’ve been there this year. […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a picture from the Vietnam Memorial called “The Three Soldiers.” According to Wikipedia, the addition of the statues to the memorial caused some controversy at the time. It is a beautiful sculpture and I look forward to seeing it if I ever visit Washington, DC again. Enjoy!
When we were younger, our kids said we were so old we lived in caves. Of course, they thought our living room looked like the picture in today’s jigsaw puzzle. I told them we didn’t live in a cave. I did, however, neglect to tell them about our grandparents. Enjoy and please share!
Friday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle I like the way some buildings are made. The architecture can often be amazing, and pleasing to the eye. It’s one of the reasons I like to make jigsaw puzzles of buildings from time to time, and occasionally I focus on one part of a building instead of the whole […]
Thursday’s Artistic Daily Jigsaw Puzzle The picture in today’s jigsaw puzzle was originally a lot wider than what you see here. I had to trim away about a third if its width to get a puzzle that would fit on the average monitor. Maybe in the future I’ll go back and show more of it, […]
If someone were to explain to you everything about time, you’d run out of time before they got finished. Seriously, though. Time passes at different rates based on gravity and also on how much discomfort you experience during that time. For example, a really bad 90 minute movie can take four hours to complete, and […]
I’ve had this picture of funny ducks in my collection for quite a while now, and just finally decided to use it in a jigsaw puzzle. Actually, it was Bob that wanted a puzzle of ducks. Seems he wanted to go duck hunting but his wife won’t let him. Says he’s too clumsy and it’s […]
I think we stumbled into a museum, or maybe Uncle Ed’s garage! Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a really, really old car! I can imagine the noise and smoke this thing put out, back in the day! Still, I think I would have to take it for a drive at least once, if I had the […]
Sunday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle Happy Sunday! For today’s jigsaw puzzle I feature an overhead view of the Big Apple, also known as New York City. I once drove though New York, and spent two hours stuck in traffic on the George Washington Bridge. Sadly, I didn’t have time to stop and play tourist as […]
We’ve seen this place before, from a different angle. If I didn’t still have the other picture, you might think you were in a different place. Well, maybe a little bit, anyway. It looks like it would be a nice place to relax and have good conversation with someone. All the colors and shapes make […]
Semur-en-Auxois is a commune of the Côte-d’Or department in eastern France according to Wikipedia. (Notice how often I reference places in Wikipedia? I donate to support them! You can too!) Never heard of the place? Perhaps you’ve heard of a famous landmark there, “La Collégiale Notre-Dame.” Yep, another place on my bucket list! Enjoy today’s […]
Today’s jigsaw puzzle features a really strange looking castle. I’m not entirely sure it’s even a castle. The Weird person to the side really has me questioning if the artist was having a bad fever dream when they created this, whatever it is. (Note to Bob – you wanted weird, you got weird.) Enjoy!
Wednesday’s Free Daily Jigsaw Puzzle The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, according to Wikipedia. It’s so large you could fit a football field into its center. It is located in Yellowstone National Park in the Midway Geyser Basin. You can visit it, but you […]
The street art in today’s jigsaw puzzle has a bit of an underwater theme to it. The artwork is pretty good and shows some imagination to boot! Enjoy!
Monday’s Really Tough Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s jigsaw puzzle, Dahlia Flower, is a tough one. There is a pattern to it, so you might want to check out the picture of it if you hit a tough spot. Maybe even play an easier version, too! Yes, I had a request for a tough puzzle and as […]
The rural Japanese Village in today’s jigsaw puzzle is a lot different than their big cities. I was lucky enough to visit one with a friend a few months after I got to Japan about thirty-five years ago. It was very interesting and had a slower pace than Tokyo. Enjoy today’s puzzle!
