It’s been a while since I used vegetables for a jigsaw puzzle. These are mostly red or orange veggies, though. Somehow they made their way onto my meat lover’s menu. Guess that’s a side effect of getting older. You start eating heather. Too bad I didn’t start thirty or forty years ago. Enjoy the puzzles […]
This hotel has seen better days. It kinds of reminds me of one I once stayed at in the Philippines. It was an old but cheap one. I was happy that I was there for only one night before catching a flight to Japan. I was worried a strong breeze would have come along and […]
Friday’s Surprise Jigsaw Puzzle Today’s jigsaw puzzle is a surprise. It’s called ‘A little piece of paradise’ because that’s what it represents. When you complete the puzzle, you will know what I mean. Enjoy!
OK, I heard that before the people that made my Smart car built it, they tried making trains. I’m not sure how well that went over. Judging by the photograph in today’s jigsaw puzzle, I think it may have been a failed experiment. Still, I do wonder what kind of gas mileage this thing gets.
Somehow the title of today’s jigsaw puzzle makes me want to go eat at a Chinese restaurant. Of course, I would never cook the little fella. He’s too cute, and my wife wouldn’t let me. Quack quack.
Tuesday’s Soggy Jigsaw Puzzle Water aerobics can be very good for you. It’s low stress on the joints and includes resistance training. Of course you have to avoid drowning in the first place.
Today’s jigsaw puzzle is of an old stone oven. At least, I think that’s what it is. I’m not really sure what they make in it. Probably bread. Or bricks. Or both. In any case, it looks like it would get hot in there.
Note: I have added a new Animated jigsaw puzzle to the Facebook fan page. The old church in today’s jigsaw puzzle is undergoing some repairs, but the main subject is the nice old fountain in front of it. There was a nice fountain at the college I attended. One night, someone dumped in a bottle […]
It’s been about a month since I did my last mystery jigsaw puzzle, and as I sit here at the table at McNuggets, a bit of inspiration hits. I’ll do a jigsaw puzzle about breakfast. Since I wasn’t really sure what it was in my plastic tray, I decided to make it a mystery puzzle […]
The woods are actually a little nice right now. It’s winter, but we haven’t had any snow yet, nor are we likely to get much, if any, this year. That makes walks in the woods a bit easier on the feet. Of course, I don’t have to worry about sitting in snow if I decide […]
Street Market You can find street markets all over the world. Some places don’t have shopping malls like we have here in the USA. For some, a street market is their shopping center. In China I once saw a street that had over a hundred vendors, all outside, none with a roof over their heads. […]
Today is the day after yesterday, and yesterday was Valentine’s day. Today’s jigsaw puzzle sort of goes along with yesterday’s theme. In this case it is of two wedding rings locked together by a padlock. I know what I think it means, but I’d like to hear what you think. Enjoy!
Dang! Valentine’s Day again. I sure hope the gas mart up the road has something Vanentiney I can get for my wife real quick. Maybe one of those little roses they sell. Or a new funnel to help her put oil in her car. I know – a gas card and two lottery tickets! Yeah, […]
Sara told me all about her and her sister growing up together. She was the youngest, and her big sister took care of her when their parents couldn’t. I went and found this photograph to use for today’s jigsaw puzzle because of Sara’s story. Sara, this one is for you.
The Passiria Valley, shown in today’s jigsaw puzzle, is located in Northern Italy. One of the communities there (called a ‘comune’) is called “Moos.” At first I thought it was because they had cows there, but in this case “Moos” means “bog” or “wetlands.” I think I like the idea of the cows better. Moo.
The crazy weather we are having this winter makes for some nice outside lunches. Not too cool, not too hot. Today’s jigsaw puzzle has a few more pieces than normal, so it’s a tad bit harder. At least it’s Saturday so you have a little more time to work the puzzle. Enjoy!
OK, I have to admit the inspiration for today’s jigsaw puzzle came from the cereal I was eating for breakfast. Somehow cat hair got into my bowl of organic healthy crunch cereal, cardboard and twigs. That’s one of the problems with living in a house full of cats. Sigh. Sometimes I miss my chocolate coated […]
Margaret and Allen asked for an abstract jigsaw puzzle, something a little difficult. Request granted! I found this abstract swirl that looks almost like different colored smoke rings. Oh, I had a couple of people tell me they thought the machine from yesterday’s puzzle was for removing corn from the cob. Sounds right to me.
Ghost In The Old Machine This machine in today’s jigsaw puzzle is old enough to have a ghost living inside it, although it would have to be a small ghost. I have no idea what this machine was supposed to do, so if you know, please let me know. Thanks!
The stairs in today’s jigsaw puzzle are from the house of an artist in Costa Rica. (The artist’s name wasn’t listed.) I like jigsaw puzzles of stairs, and this one is different enough to be a bit of a challenge. Enjoy! (Have you checked out the puzzles on the Fan Page yet?)
