Pins, or thumbtacks as they are sometimes known as, have sharp points, of course.
I prefer the new ones made of plastic as the old metal style ones always seemed to land pointy side up in order to make them easier to find with your bare feet!
The plastic ones tend to lay on their sides more.
Now, the pain of stepping on a thumbtack has been replaced by tiny plastic bricks that every house with kids in it seems to have.
“Lego’s” translates into English as “Bringer Of Pain In The Dark.” That’s because you usually step on them late at night when the lights are out!
That’s just one of the joys of being a parent these days.
Of course, back when I was a kid we didn’t have Lego’s, we had jacks, and those really HURT!
Anyway, the point of all this rambling is to introduce you to today’s jigsaw puzzle called “Pins.”
