Thursday’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle
Sanfeng Temple (previously known as Sunfong Pavilion,) is located in the huge port of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
It is a favorite tourist spot surrounded by a diversity of parks and skyscrapers.
We sailed past Taiwan a few times but never stopped there. We did stop in Hong Kong about twice a year, which is about 400 miles from Kaohsiung City.
The temple is about 300 years old and was actually moved to its current location in 1971.
The ceremonies held there often resemble carnivals and attract large crowds.
In all, I hope to visit Taiwan one day, and if I do, then the Sanfeng Temple is on my to do list when I get there.
