Today’s jigsaw puzzle is another in my series of repeating pattern puzzles, and is of an escalator leading down to a pedestrian bridge.
I rode an escalator in Hong Kong years ago that went from the train station to the upper level of a shopping mall. It was at least five hundred feet tall, and very crowded.
Most of it was in a tube-shaped tunnel going up at a sharp angle. It was not a good place to be if you were claustrophobic.
There are a lot of pedestrian bridges there, too. They mostly run between buildings so you don’t have to go down to street level to get from one side to the other.
Some can be quite scenic.
