Food can surprise you. It can look like one thing, and taste like another.
I had some white colored ice cream that turned out to be pineapple flavored.
I made a cake once that tasted like a used odor-eater. But I got better at it.
Now my cakes taste like new odor-eaters instead.
That cooking lesson I took all those years ago wasn’t a complete waste of time. I did learn what kind of fire extinguisher preserves the flavor the best.
