It’s a horse, Bob.
I can see it’s a horse. What I want to know is why is it in my parking spot? Bob asked.
Well, I replied, It’s there because I forgot my keys.
Not taking his eyes off the horse, Bob reached out and put a hand on my shoulder. You forgot your keys, so you rode a horse in to work?
Not at all, I said, moving slightly away so his hand slipped off my shoulder. If I had remembered my keys, the horse would have been… somewhere else.
Bob looked suspiciously at me and demanded Where else?
Taking another step away, and with a grin on my face, I said If I had remembered my keys to the building, the horse would be in your cubical right now.
For a practical joker, Bob sure doesn’t have a sense of humor when it comes to the work place.
