Thanksgiving’s Jigsaw Puzzle

Today is Thanksgiving day in the USA.
It’s a time when we get together with relatives, eat lots and lots of food until we can barely move, watch football on TV, then get up the next morning at 3:00 AM to go shopping.
I don’t understand it either, but it’s a tradition.
For today’s jigsaw puzzle, I picked a painting by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris called “The First Thanksgiving.”
I’m thankful for my friends and family, and that I live in a place where we can have a holiday such as this without fear of others who would take it from us.
Before you get to the puzzle, I would like to share a quote with you:
“The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.” — H.U. Westermayer
